  1. Mōrena Levi,

What an awesome art activity, I love colour block art as it is such a quick and easy style of art to master. Last year my students did colour block art of our school’s giant pine tree!!

I think you did an awesome job with this blog post especially with the details in your description. You introduced and described the activity well, although I would love to know whether you enjoyed it and if you found anything challenging. It is also great to see you coming back to the summer learning journey, I hope to see you complete some more activities over the next two weeks!!

I also think you did an amazing job with your art. I love the use of that beautiful sunset purple and all the details in the shadows with the palm trees and birds. Did you base this scene on something you have seen before?

Have you been out to the beach to watch a sunrise yet this summer?

    1. Kia Ora it’s Levi and maybe I have been out to see a sunset at the beach, but i’m not so sure if I really did. I like that Last year your students did colour block art of your school’s enormous pine tree! it must have been very hard. Oh and I will do some more summer blogs.

  2. Morena Levi,

It’s Annabel here from Koputaroa school. WOW, I love how when you see your slide it’s an instant colour pop which is awesome! I also really like the cartoon suns they are a nice addition to the slide! You have added so much detail to this task like how on your slide you have information about your sunset image.

Next time I think you could add to it even more by adding a question on your blog post so the readers have something to answer when they comment on your post. Did you find this task tricky? I found making the palm trees was quite difficult. Overall I think your slide is great and your sunset image is amazing as well! Keep up the great Mahi!

  3. Hi Levi

I really like how you described your artwork and I can’t believe it took 2 hours that’s a long time. Maybe next time when doing this you take a bit more time writing what you did, how you did it, what was hard, and so on to your viewers as they have more to talk about. But anyway kai pai

Great job on your blog comment. I love your slideshow. The colours you chose matched and they pop out. Next time maybe you could add information like what I liked most what I found hard and so on. Emilie

My name is Cairo from Edmund Hillary School, I personally enjoy this post because of your wonderful yellow gradient backround and blue wording which makes the contrast pop! I liked how you explained how you created this. I would personally recommend adding a question to your post to widen your audience but other than that this was an amazing post keep up the good work.
